ITINERARY
Day by Day

Day One: Departure
Board for your flight from the USA to Egypt. This will be an overnight flight, arriving the next day to Cairo.
Day Two: Welcome to Egypt!
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, meet our local representative who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. Enjoy an orientation panoramic tour of the city, before check-in & dinner at the hotel. Your journey to through the Old Testament of Egypt begins!

Day Three: Cairo
After breakfast in your hotel, we will depart and explore one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Visit the Great Pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure which are guarded by the rock-cut statue (The Sphinx) a large half-human, half-lion statue. Then you will proceed to visit the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiques which exhibits a collection now over 120,000 masterpieces ranges from Pre-dynastic era, Pharaonic era to the Greco-Roman period in Egypt including the treasures of the child King Tutankhamen. We’ll travel back to the hotel for dinner.

Day Four: Luxor
Following breakfast in our hotel, we transfer to the airport and fly to Luxor, also known as the ancient city of Thebes (Jeremiah 46:25). Upon arrival Luxor airport, we will visit the Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor. Karnak Temple, the largest place of worship ever built in ancient Egypt. The temple, or, more correctly, the complex of temples, was built over more than two thousand years by generation after generation of pharaohs. Then we will travel to the majestic Luxor Temple which built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the god Amun. We will transfer to the cruise ship to begin your Nile Cruise.

Day Five: West Bank Luxor
After breakfast onboard the ship, we will travel to the west bank of the Nile, visiting the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon). Then visit the Valley of the Kings, a burial site in the mountains where many ancient pharaohs’ tombs (including King Tutankhamun) were found. Continue the tour to visit the Hatshepsut Temple, this impressive temple dedicated to the Queen Hatshepsut the only female pharaoh. We will board the cruise ship for dinner, and make our way south to to the city of Edfu.

Day Six: Edfu & Kom Ombo
Before breakfast aboard your Nile cruise you may enjoy the amazing sunrise view from your river cruise in with leisurely free time while sailing to Edfu where you will be transferred by a horse drawn carriage to visit the famous Edfu Temple also known as the temple of Horus & Haroeris, the falcon-headed solar War God is the largest and most perfectly preserved of all the Nile temples. Back to the Nile cruise to sail to Kom Ombo to visit the temple the crocodile-headed God of fertility. To end our evening we will enjoy dinner on the cruise ship as we sail further south to Aswan.

Day Seven: Aswan
Following breakfast on the cruise ship in Aswan, we will visit the world famous High Dam that was an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s. We’ll then travel to the Egyptian quarries, that still hold the famous Unfinished Obelisk. We will travel by motor-boat to island of Egilka visit the majestic Philae Temple that was dedicated to the Goddesses Isis. Optional evening excursion will offer the sound and light show at the Temple of Philae. Return to your Nile cruise ship for lunch, and enjoy leisurely free time in Aswan. Dinner will be served on the cruise ship.

Day Eight: Abu Simbel
After breakfast on the cruise ship, we travel to the Abu Simbel Temples. Here we discover the magnificent monuments and the majestic two temples of the Abu Simbel that were built by Egypt’s great Pharaoh Ramses II. We’ll return back to Aswan with free time at leisure for the afternoon. That evening we will transfer to the Aswan airport for a flight back to Cairo, check-in & dinner at your hotel.

Day Nine: Alexandria
Following breakfast at our hotel, we make our way north to the ancient city of Alexandria. We will visit the ancient Catacombs, which considered one of the Seven Wonders of the middle age, and the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt. We will stop at Qaitbay’s Citadel, the 15th -century defensive fortress located on the Mediterranean Sea coast. It was erected on the exact site of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria, which was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. We end our tour by visiting the Montazah Royal Palaces and Gardens which belonging to the royal family, & boasts a beautiful 3000 meters wide garden containing a huge selection of rare trees & plants. We will drive back to Cairo to the hotel for dinner, & overnight.

Day Ten: Home
Transfer to Cairo Airport for your departure flight home. We hope that the memories of your visit in Egypt will bring you back once more!
